The location is quietly excellent. You are on the Quebec side of the Ottawa River, five minutes from Parliament Hill and the Rideau Canal, with the lake, a beach and cycling paths at the door. That combination — capital-city sightseeing, a lakeside resort setting and an 18+ gaming floor — has no equivalent elsewhere in the country.

The gaming floor is mid-to-large at roughly 1,800 machines and 60 tables, with the restrained Loto-Québec house style: calm, well finished and noticeably quieter than the Ontario resorts across the river.
